Bullying Bullying in schools was perceived to be a normal part of adolescent, however, when people begin to have this mentality, they forget that bullying is physically and psychologically harmful to both the bully and the victim. Bullying was known as an unfortunate cycle of adolescents and for many years have been dismissed as a passage of growing up. But not until tragic events have led to believe that bullying has a greater impact on a child’s life what first were playful jokes it has led to traumatic experience and at some cases death. According to John Cloud a writer of the Times magazine a 17-year-old named T.J. Lane was supposedly seen in a high school outside of Cleveland with a gun. The crime scene was Chardon High School cafeteria where it was reported that Lane fired 10 shots. According to report five students were hit and three were dead. Leaving people asking what would prompt a 17 year-old to do such a malicious crime. The answer may lie in T.J’s childhoo d. Lane looked like a friendly guy who had a great social life and who even had a ton of friends on his social media accounts. But behind the lovable personality lied the hardship of his childhood. Both of his parents were arrested for domestic violence, this forced Lane to live with his grandparents. It is unfortunate that T.J. could not find people that could help him with his situation and now he will pay for his actions.
